Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Talent Ocean (“the platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. Talent Ocean is operated by Talent Ocean from Bangladesh.
2. What we provide
Talent Ocean gives creators a single page to sell products, courses, consultations, live requests, paid posts, Circle subscriptions, and fan-gated content. We provide the tools, payment infrastructure, and page hosting; creators are responsible for what they list, price, and deliver.
3. Creator accounts
To sell on the platform, you must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate account and payout information. You may not impersonate another person, use someone else’s intellectual property without permission, or list illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these rules.
4. Payments and fees
Payments are processed through SSLCommerz in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT). A platform fee applies to successful transactions as described in the creator dashboard. Payouts are sent to the creator’s chosen bKash, Nagad, Rocket, or bank account. You are responsible for any taxes, charges, or compliance obligations that apply to your earnings.
5. Refunds and disputes
Refunds are handled between the buyer and the creator unless otherwise required by law. Creators set their own refund policy for each product or service. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, you may contact us at info@talentocean.com and we will review the situation in good faith.
6. Content and intellectual property
You keep ownership of the content you create and upload. By publishing content on Talent Ocean, you grant us a limited license to host, display, and deliver it to your audience as part of the platform service. You may not upload content that infringes on third-party rights or violates applicable laws.
7. Prohibited use
You may not use the platform to distribute malware, send spam, abuse other users, evade fees, interfere with platform operations, or engage in any illegal activity. We may remove content, suspend accounts, or report activity to authorities when necessary.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create legal risk, or stop operating in good faith. Outstanding payouts for completed transactions will generally be settled according to our payout schedule.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Talent Ocean is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or any creator’s products or services.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. We will post the latest version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated terms.
